The month long festivities of #BNHAF Awards and Festival International Editions concluded with the closing of 19th Edition in Basel, Switzerland on May 24, 2024.
The 18th and the 19th Edition saw many firsts for #BNHAF — they were the first conjoined editions — with month long festivities spread across three continents Asia (India), Americas (the US), Europe (France and Switzerland).
To celebrate the bohemian spirit of Europe and Cannes Film Festival in particular, the European edition for the first time was held across the Cannes Film Festival points, including very near to the famed Red Carpet venue.
Before the Cannes Red Carpet, #BNHAF Awards and Festival 19th Edition
The 19th Edition opened during the Cannes Film Festival in Cannes on May 19, 2024. The focus of the 19th edition was nurturing upcoming talent and actors, actresses, 1st time producers, directors, editors, DoP’s, influencers were awarded.
These creatives came from diverse background and from countries across the globe. France, Czech Republic, Romania, Argentina, China, Hungary, Taiwan, Philippines, South Africa, Australia, Thailand, Bulgaria and of course, India.
The #BNHAF awardees were also given gifts by the sponsors, Gem Mines and Rekha Vohraa Foundation. Connecting online Rekha Vohraa congratulated all the winners. Amit Gupta said that #BNHAF Awards and Festival might not be as old as Cannes Film Festival, but in essence, it is nurturing talent that might go on to win big at Cannes.
The founder of #BNHAF Awards and Festival, Amit R Agarwal said, he got some very valuable inputs during Cannes Film Festival regarding #BNHAF and once the 20th Edition of #BNHAF is done in India in June, the entire format of #BNHAF Awards and Festival will be revamped to celebrate each and every talent across the world together with Talent Ka Maha Utsav.
